We offer two books for sale. Colonial Higdons and Some of Their Descendants by Lucille B. Coone is one. The other is Descendants of Joseph Huffman Higdon and Margaret Matilda Berry Higdon by Jessie Higdon Wilkie. We have other genealogy books in our library, some we have PDFs of.

Colonial Higdons and Some of Their Descendants by Lucille Coone was published first in 1976. She met Bob Higdon and his wife Durelle in Marfa, Texas in the 1930's. Later on, while she was researching other families at the archives in Washington DC, she would find records of Higdons. As her copies of this information increased, she let Bob know. He asked her to do more research and she then produced her book. The book traces using Colonial Court Records 3 different Higdon families. Daniel, John and Richard Higdon from their first appearance in Colonial Court Records to the middle to latter part of the 1600's. She includes a family tree for each. These trees were used to create the US Higdon family tree on Ancestry by Chuck Higdon. The book is 167 pages with some family stories, speculations and facts.

Descendants of Joseph Huffman Higdon and Margaret Matilda Berry Higdon by Jessie Higdon Wilkie, printed in August 1983. This book is about this family with many photos of family gatherings, individuals, along with family trees.
