In 2022, we had our first meeting after the COVID pandemic on May 18-20. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Bardstown, Kentucky. Donnie and Susan Higdon did a great job of hosting this delayed meeting. After 2.5 years and 3 attempts to have it.
Thursday morning, we toured the Bardstown Civil War Museum. We then visited the Museum of American Wars - Museum of Mid-America, and the Woman of the Civil War Museum. We then went to the Jim Beam Distillery for a nice lunch and tour. Finished the tour with a trip to the tasting room. Friday morning, we had our annual business meeting. After lunch we were on our own for some site seeing. Then our banquet at "The Talbott Tavern" with some additional Higdons joining us there for the dinner and conversation.
